Microsoft has revealed how to create a custom desktop computer for the company’s new Windows 10 operating system.
The company says that with a few simple steps, you can get a new PC with all the same hardware features as its current flagship Windows 10 machine, the Surface Pro 4.
The machine can be customized with a variety of hardware configurations, including Intel’s latest Ivy Bridge and Broadwell CPUs, and Nvidia’s GeForce GTX 1060 graphics cards.
However, Microsoft says the system is still designed for consumers to create their own PCs.
It doesn’t include any third-party software or apps.
The computer’s specs include a 15.6-inch 1080p screen, 8GB of RAM, a 256GB hard drive, and an Intel Core i5 processor.
You can also choose between 8GB and 16GB of Nvidia’s Pascal GPU, but the company has not said how much you’ll need.
The PC comes with a 128GB SSD for storage, but it does not come with an SSD for the main storage.
The computer can be charged via USB or a USB-C port, but only via a power adapter.
Microsoft says that you can use the machine as a desktop computer, but you won’t be able to install applications like Adobe Photoshop or a variety that Microsoft offers on the machine.
The new Windows PC will be available in the second half of this year, and you can buy the system for $699.99.
