4k monitors can be expensive, and a 4k screen costs around $5,000 or more, so the best solution for a gaming PC may not be one that costs as much as a 1080p one.
Instead, the best option for a PC that needs a 4K display may not even be a 4.6-inch panel, but a 3.7-inch one.
Here’s a rundown of the best 4K displays available today.

If you’re looking for a more affordable 1080p gaming monitor, you may want to consider the Acer Predator Z270HU (or its slightly cheaper sibling, the Predator Z271HU).
If you’re interested in an older, high-end gaming monitor but aren’t sure which one you want, look at the Samsung 24F27HU, the Acer C720HU or the Dell XPS 24HU.
These displays offer a more comfortable and comfortable feel, and offer a higher refresh rate of 144Hz than most other 4K panels on the market.
The only downside to these monitors is that they only offer a 2560×1440 resolution.
These monitors aren’t as fast as some 4K models, but they’re not terrible, either.
These screens are also less likely to require a 120Hz refresh rate.
If you want a 1440p display but don’t want to spend a ton of money, the Asus PB278Q is a good option.
It’s worth noting that if you’re using a high-resolution monitor like the Dell C2425HU with a 144Hz refresh, you can’t use a 1080i display without sacrificing performance.
The PB278K has a 120hz refresh rate, but you’ll need to purchase a 1440i display to play it at 120Hz.
If that’s not an option for you, you could try a 4:2:0 display like the Acer Q2810HU and the Dell W2427H.
The Acer Predator HV24, for example, has a 144hz refresh and a 1080 display.
If it’s a 4-inch monitor, that’s still a 120 Hz panel, which is fine for a 1080 monitor, but if you need a 4x monitor for gaming, you might want to look at a 1440 display like this one from Dell.
The monitor is also more expensive, but it’s more versatile.
This monitor can be used for video editing, photo editing, and editing apps like Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, and Lightroom, which can all be found on the Predator Hv24.
If the monitor isn’t used for gaming or video editing though, you’ll probably want to check out a more traditional 1080p monitor like this Dell XG2870H, which features a 144 Hz refresh.
You’ll find a lot of 4K screens in the $300-$500 range right now, and they’re definitely a lot more affordable than other high-priced displays.
If your budget is a bit higher, though, there are a few other 4k screens that may be just what you need.
The most expensive 4K monitor we’ve seen so far is the Dell U2710 (also from Dell).
If this is your first time buying a monitor, don’t worry if you have a little experience with 4K and don’t know what you want.
Dell’s U27 series monitors offer a 1080 IPS display, a 144-Hz refresh refresh rate and support for NVIDIA FreeSync, so you can have smooth gaming with a 120fps refresh rate without sacrificing any image quality.
The U2711 has a 1440 IPS display as well, and both the U2714 and U2716 offer 1440p monitors with a 60Hz refresh.
The Predator HVI24 is also a very good option for gaming.
It has a 1080 screen, and it also has support for FreeSync.
It’s not as fast or as comfortable as the U2112, but the Predator’s 1440p monitor has a 60hz refresh, so it can run at 144Hz without sacrificing image quality and gaming experience.
If your budget isn’t quite there yet, you should also look at these inexpensive 1440p displays that are compatible with the Nvidia Shield TV (also known as the Nvidia Go TV).
These models can be found for about $30 and don,t include FreeSync support, so they’ll still offer smooth gaming without a lot.
